Dr. Raymond Thompson has 30+ years of expert witness experience. He has served both plaintiff and defense lawyers in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Florida. A team of experienced and qualified engineers and scientists assists Dr. Thompson.

We look for the most simple and direct answer that explains the technical problem. Vista believes, through years of experience, that most good science is simple. Many product liability, contract arbitration and intellectual property cases need a technical/scientific basis from which to negotiate. The technical answer that is complicated, circuitous, and vague is usually wrong.

Presentation
A picture may be worth a thousand words, but a clear mental image that lasts from the courtroom through the jury deliberation is invaluable. Technical clarity in presentation is achieved through experience. Dr. Thompson had 24 years of classroom experience in creating mental images for students. He has researched presentation methods ranging from the Pentagon to elementary school and found they have two things in common: simplicity and strong images. He is equally at ease with 60 year old corporate presidents and 6 year old school kids. His blue-collar upbringing and academic training help him to identify with a wide range of learning and personality types. When it comes to the courtroom, these skills come together to create verbal, graphic and visual images that are simple, clear and uncluttered.
